Kayla is eaisily dismissed as an OH because of her height, but she is more athletic than most other players on the court - combined.   She is a very good passer in defense with a great understanding of position, read and pursuit of the ball.  However, because she is such a smart, consistent and aware hitter she plays as a six-rotation OH for club and her high school team.  Although somewhat undersized, she hits the ball very high and has great court vision and a number of shots that most bigger hitters lack.  She is the hardest worker who will run through a wall if I ask her to.  Excellent attitude, great work ethic and fantastic all around player.
